Lytx to Speak on Steering a Safety Culture to Improve Driver Behavior at Safety 2019

SAN DIEGO — June 11, 2019 —

The event will be held at the Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Convention Center, from June 9 - 12. ASSP is a global association for occupational safety and health professionals, the conference is a leading source for education among safety professionals, providing valuable training, networking, knowledge, skills and continuing education.

Del Lisk, Lytx vice president of safety services, will lead a panel discussion titled “How to Steer Your Safety Culture Out of the Ditch and Improve Driver Behavior” which will include speakers from Lytx client the City of Kansas City, Mo. (KCMO).  The session will be held on June 12 from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. CST as part of the conference transportation educational track.  The discussion will focus on how KCMO used video telematics, driver training and coaching, as well as a "head and heart" approach rather than discipline, to change its organizational culture and dramatically improve safety within its fleet operations.
